Meet Erin

It all started when…

...she came to Truckee. Originally from New Hampshire, with some time spent in San Francisco and Denver, Erin settled in the Tahoe Basin in 2013 to raise her two daughters.

While Erin’s creativity and attention to detail make her a gifted stylist, both behind the chair and in creating event hairstyles, she believes that bridal hair and makeup is truly where her passion lies. It allows her to express her creativity in such a way that training cannot teach. Her success comes from listening and understanding each of her clients.

Erin graduated with High Honors from Aveda Institute Denver. It was here that she learned the concept of a Daymaker: a person who performs acts of kindness with the intention of making the world a better place.

Erin created Daymaker Brides in 2015 to be that very person who makes brides and wedding parties look and feel their best on their special day. This is the most rewarding aspect of her career.

She hand-picked her makeup artist, Heidi, based not solely on her incredibly talent but by her warmth, kindness and passion. As a team, they create meaningful relationships and connections through their work, while also making you look and feel your very best.
